DESCRIPTION:In this class\, we will make a beautiful leather shoulder bag a
 nd wallet assembled using a traditional leather braid on the seams. Kangar
 oo lacing will be used\, ensuring the longevity of the braid. We will then
  finish with solid brass hardware and discuss leather conditioning. All pi
 eces will be prepared by the instructor prior to class so that we can focu
 s on the skills used to assemble the bag. We will go over these preparator
 y steps as a class so that everyone has the knowledge to continue to make 
 beautiful leather creations. Physical ability note: Significant hand stren
 gth needed. Be sure to bring reading glasses if needed as we will be worki
 ng closely with small holes. This course is open to students ages 16+. You
 th ages 13-15 are welcome to register with an adult. Adult/child pairs wil
 l complete two projects and pay two materials fees. A 25% tuition discount
  applies to the youth registrant when registering with a full-paying adult
