DESCRIPTION:Fall is a time of great abundance in the world of wild plant fo
 ods and foraging. We will explore the nuts\, fruits\, taproots and tubers\
 , mushrooms\, seeds\, greens\, and more from this time of year and learn h
 ow to find and identify the plants that offer them. We will dig into proce
 ssing methods with some of these foods and learn about preparation and sto
 rage for winter. We will have a full day of forays\, education\, and discu
 ssion\, while gathering some of fall's abundance throughout the day for pa
 rticipants to take home. We will enjoy a delicious and largely wild lunch 
 prepared by Tamsen Morgan. Date: Sunday\, October 4\, 2026 Time: 9:00 AM -
  4:30 PM Lunch will be provided. Ages: 8+ (ages 8-17 with a participating 
 adult) Location: Rural La Farge\, WI Instructions: We recommend wearing lo
 ng pants and close-toed shoes\, and bringing a backpack with a notebook\, 
 water bottle\, bags for gathering\, a shovel\, and any other learning aids

 you want\, abundantly meet your needs through employment or can comfortabl

 lity of our programs while keeping our offerings accessible to those with
