DESCRIPTION:Two things that many of us can expect during the holidays are t
 raveling and gifting! In this class\, we will learn the basics of hand-sti
 tching leather and will make a number of leather goods that are perfect fo
 r travel or making for gifts (or keeping for ourselves!). We will make a D
 opp kit\, a simple leather clutch\, a Mason jar koozie\, and a leather jou
 rnal. Each student will leave with patterns to make more\, some basic tool
 s to continue leatherworking\, and the option to buy smaller pieces of lea
 ther\, so you don’t need to invest in an entire hide to begin. Customizati
 ons and additional projects can be discussed. This course is open to stude
 nts ages 16+. Required Tools All required tools and materials are provided
  by instructor Optional Tools Any additional leatherworking tools or leath
 er pieces you may be interested in\, but not necessary.
