  us for a weekend of medicinal plant exploration that will begin a lifelon
 g relationship between you and local plants. During this weekend program\,
  we will introduce you to the basics of plant medicines with hands-on iden
 tification\, medicine making\, and botanical instruction. We will practice
  deep connection to the wild plants of the Pacific Northwest. Our approach
  is both intellectual and intuitive. This will help you create a multiface
 ted relationship with native and local plants to support your specific hea
 lth needs on many levels. Topics will include: Botanical Identification Et
 hical Harvesting & Wild Tending Biochemistry Plant Energetics Wild Plant F
 irst Aid Medicine Making with water-based and oil-based infusions Students
  will go home with handmade herbal extracts\, access to class powerpoints 
 and handouts\, as well as a comprehensive foundation to plant medicine. Th
 is class is intended to teach both scientific and folk practices of workin
 g with the multi-faceted gifts of plants. Making your own medicine is empo
 wering\, holistic and can increase connection to yourself\, others and the
  bursting pharmacopeia outside. Join us for this enriching weekend that wi
 ll send you on a plant journey that will last a lifetime. Program Logistic
 s Class takes place on our 40-acre property outside of Duvall\, WA. It wil
 l go from 9-4pm Saturday and Sunday. Participants will need to bring lunch
 \, snacks\, and water for each day. Camping is available Saturday night on
  our campus. To register\, select “Optional Camping” under the Additional 
 Options section during the registration process. Camping is at your own ri
 sk and available only for Saturday. Potable water and restrooms are provid
 ed.
