This is a drop-in day joining the Survival Immersion activities. Workshops geared towards adults. Students age 12-17 may be enrolled to attend this workshop with a parent/guardian. Learn to use primitive and modern tools for the art of flint knapping: an ancient survival skill that humans have used throughout the ages. Learn pressure flaking and percussion methods to reshape stone, such as obsidian, flint, agate, and glass, into tools. Bring home your newly made stone tool and the knowledge needed to make more. We provide the tools and materials needed for this course. Once enrolled, we will email you what to bring, waivers, location, and other info needed for this course.
