FeralSkills is a directory of in-person classes, workshops, gatherings, and expos. By using this site, you agree to the following:

Use of the directory

You may browse, link to, and reference listings on FeralSkills for personal and non-commercial use. Scraping, bulk-republishing, or mirroring the directory is not permitted without written consent.

Submissions

When you submit an event to FeralSkills, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, format, and distribute the information across our site, newsletter, and partner channels. You represent that you have permission to publish the information.

Accuracy

Listings on FeralSkills are compiled from public sources and from information submitted to us. Schedules, prices, availability, and locations change, and a class that appears here may be full, rescheduled, or cancelled by the time you read the listing. A listing is a pointer to a school, not a reservation, and it is not confirmation that a seat is available. Always confirm details and secure your place directly with the school or organizer before you travel or make plans.

Removal and corrections

If you are a school, instructor, venue, or organizer and you want your events corrected or removed from FeralSkills, email hello@feralskills.com and we will take care of it. You do not need to explain why, and there is no cost.

Please include the name of your school or organization, a link to the page or listing in question, and whether you want a correction or a full removal. To help us find everything, tell us the web address of the calendar or page the information came from, if you know it.

We aim to acknowledge removal requests within two business days and to complete removals within five. A full removal takes down the listings and the organization page, and blocks the source so our systems do not pick it up again. Search engines keep their own copies of pages for a time after ours are gone; we notify the ones that accept such notices, but how quickly a cached result disappears is up to them, not us.

If you believe material on FeralSkills infringes your copyright or other rights, write to the same address with enough detail to identify the material and your rights in it, and we will respond promptly.

Disclaimer of warranties

FERALSKILLS IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE DIRECTORY WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT LISTINGS ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR AVAILABLE. WE ARE NOT THE ORGANIZER, SPONSOR, OR PROVIDER OF ANY EVENT LISTED HERE, WE DO NOT SCREEN, ENDORSE, OR VET THE SCHOOLS, INSTRUCTORS, OR VENUES THAT APPEAR IN THE DIRECTORY, AND WE MAKE NO WARRANTY ABOUT THEIR QUALIFICATIONS, SAFETY PRACTICES, INSURANCE, OR CONDUCT. ANY DEALINGS BETWEEN YOU AND A SCHOOL, INSTRUCTOR, VENUE, OR ORGANIZER ARE SOLELY BETWEEN YOU AND THEM.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FERALSKILLS AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE DIRECTORY OR YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY LISTING, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, TRAVEL COSTS, WASTED EXPENDITURE, OR LOSSES ARISING FROM A CLASS THAT WAS FULL, CANCELLED, RESCHEDULED, RELOCATED, MISPRICED, OR DESCRIBED INACCURATELY.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE DIRECTORY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE (WHICH, FOR NEARLY EVERY USER, IS NOTHING, BECAUSE THE DIRECTORY IS FREE) OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limits above apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FeralSkills and its owners, operators, and contributors from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: your use of the directory; any event listing or other material you submit to us; your breach of these terms; your violation of any law or of the rights of any third party; or your attendance at, conduct at, or participation in any event you learned about through FeralSkills. We may assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with us.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the directory will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes

We may update these terms over time. Substantive changes will be noted on this page.
