Learn essential skills needed to survive and thrive in the wilderness during this hands-on, two-day survival course. Students will learn how to build effective emergency shelters using tarps and natural materials. You’ll practice multiple fire-starting methods and learn how to identify and select the best materials for starting and maintaining a fire. Water procurement, purification, and boiling techniques will teach you how to safely obtain one of your most important survival resources. Students will also learn practical land-navigation skills using a map and compass. Basic knots and their real-world applications will be covered throughout the course. We also focus on survival mindset, safety, and making sound decisions under pressure. This is a beginner-friendly, hands-on course designed to give you practical skills and confidence you can use in the real world.
