Off Grid Communications is a one day practical course focused on legal, reliable communication when cellular networks and internet access are unavailable. Students learn how common radio services are actually used during outages, along with realistic range, limitations, and planning considerations. The course balances clear instruction with hands on operation so participants leave confident using their equipment. No prior radio experience is required. A Motorola FRS radio is included with tuition.
