Join herbalist Linda Conroy for this fun experiential class. We will learn about herbs that can be applied topically to heal the skin, to relieve pain and heal sprains and strains. We will make infused oils, salve, lotion, poultices, topical sprays, washes, and much more! Everyone will leave with recipes and remedies that we make in class. Date: Sunday, October 18, 2026 Time: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM Lunch will be provided. Ages: 12+ Materials Fees: $35 Location: Gays Mills, WI Sliding Scale Course Fee Guidelines (not including materials fee) Supporter Level Ticket: $140 If you are someone who finds it easy to move in the world financially – with enough discretionary funds to fulfill many of your wants as well as your needs, consider paying at this level, which will support both the Folk School and its instructors, along with others in the community. Sustainer Level Ticket: $115 If you need to budget your educational and entertainment spending – you can take classes and eat out occasionally as long as you are mindful – consider paying at this level, which will help sustain the Folk School at a modest level. Supported Level Ticket: $90 If you struggle to fund your basic needs, or carry a burden of debt or support for others in your family or community, consider paying at this level, allowing the Folk School and our contributors to fulfill our goals toward supporting and enriching our community. She dedicates her life to connecting with the green world and sharing the earth's wisdom. Her primary mentors are the plants who never cease to instill a sense of awe in her daily life.
