The Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course is the industry-standard medical training for outdoor professionals and adventurers who work, travel, and recreate in remote and austere environments. Course participants will build the confidence to respond to an emergency and manage patients requiring prolonged field care. Our students report that their WFR training is hands-down the most rewarding and confidence-building course. You’ll leave this course better prepared for what adventure brings you. What is a hybrid course? Your Hybrid WFR consists of two parts: Online Section 30 hours of self-paced pre-course work Available one month before the in-person section Must be completed before the first day of in-person class Included in the cost of the WFR course In-person Class 5 days in-person Builds skills through realistic, hands-on scenario practice CPR and AED included Registration Information This course is offered to the public and will be held at the Warren Tech campus in Lakewood, CO. Specific details about the course location will be available as we get closer to the course. Click below to register. An important note about this course is that Warren Tech High School's new policy requires all people coming on campus to check in through their Raptor VisitorSafe Program. This is essentially a check against a registered sex offender database across all 50 states. It does not search against DMV or any law enforcement system. This should only entail scanning a driver's license at the front desk on day 1 of class. Questions?
