DMM’s hybrid Wilderness First Responder Recertification Course (WRC) refreshes the basics, delivers the latest peer-reviewed best practices and industry updates, reviews industry case studies, all while providing a contextual scenario-based learning experience. Course participants will build the confidence to respond to an emergency and manage patients requiring prolonged field care. Students must have a current WFR certification from DMM or another provider who follows the certification guidelines set forth by the Wilderness Medicine Education Collaborative (WMEC). Your Hybrid WFR Recertification consists of two parts: Online Section Approximately 8 hours of self-paced pre-course work Available one month before the in-person section Must be completed before the first day of in-person class Included in the cost of the WFR Recertification course In-person Class 2 days in-person Builds skills through realistic, hands-on scenario practice CPR and AED included Registration Information This course is provided by Intuition Consulting and will be held in southern part of the beautiful mountain town of Crested Butte, Colorado.
